The team of scientists of the Polymer membranes dept won the fourth place from all 206 projects registered in the Hack the Crisis contest organized by the CzechInvest agency.

Oxygenerator invented by the IMC scientists in cooperation with the Czech membrane R&D company MemBrain differs from other oxygenerators by utilization of hollow fibre membrane, which filters 100% of all viruses and increases oxygen content up to 45% (or more).
We welcome any cooperation for production.

The elected president for the years 2020 – 2021 is Dr. Jiri Kotek, director of the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry CAS and representative of the Czech Chemical Society.

We celebrated 60 years of foundation of the Institute by Professor Otto Wichterle.

The Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the CAS within the European Polymer Federation organizes the conference. It will be held 26 June – 1 July in Prague.
