We introduce a sustainable approach for the upcycling of post-consumer recycled polyolefins within a circular economy framework using vitrimer chemistry. Recycled polyethylene is combined with a polypropylene-based vitrimer network to enhance compatibility, mechanical performance, and recyclability. The incorporation of functional comonomers improves grafting efficiency while minimizing degradation. The resulting materials exhibit significantly improved properties and maintain performance across multiple recycling cycles, offering a promising route to transform plastic waste into high-value, reusable materials.
