Jiří Brus awarded the Doctor of Sciences (DSc.) degree

On Wednesday, 24 September 2025, a ceremonial event was held at the Library of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague to award the Doctor Scientiarum (DSc) degrees. One of the degree holders, who received the diploma from Radomír Pánek, President of the Czech Academy of Sciences, was also Jiří Brus, PhD.

Jiří Brus, PhD, DSc, is a specialist in the field of materials structure research. He has developed new approaches in domain-selective NMR spectroscopy, which enables detailed investigation of multicomponent solid systems. His research has made a significant contribution to the characterization of pharmaceutically active ingredients and their formulations in medicinal products and polysaccharide-based materials.
