TopicEffect of modified graphene oxide on performance of multiphase polymer systems
AnnotationResearch of the complex effect of graphene oxide (GO) based nanosheets with targeted modification in immiscible multiphase polymer systems. Due to extraordinary physical properties, higher affinity to polymers and potential for stable modifications of GO in comparison with inorganic nanofillers, more efficient affecting of property profiles of components, parameters of interface and both thermodynamic and kinetic aspects of phase behaviour including self-assembly is anticipated.This should lead to nanocomposites with unique parameters and structures which will be achieved by broad range of graphene oxide modifications. The goal is understanding the morphological potential of controlled polymer GO interactions as well as structure–properties relationships and formation of models of micromechanical behaviour.
