K-Alpha+ X-ray Photoelectron Spectrometer

K-Alpha+ (ThermoFischer SCIENTIFIC) a fully integrated, monochromated small-spot XPS system with depth profiling and angle resolved measuring capabilities. Enables the analysis of chemical structure of materials and surfaces and determination of the binding state of individually identified elements.

Spectroscopic Ellipsometer J.A. Woollam M2000

A rotating compensator ellipsometer working in the wavelength range of 250-1000 nm (Xe lamp). The SE is equipped with micro-focusing probes enabling spots of 100 μm; calibrated positioning stage for position defined mapping; rotational stage for the determination of optical birefringence; transmission stage; in-situ and SPR ellipsometric cells and immersion probes for the in-situ ellipsometric characterization

Imaging spectroscopic Ellipsometer Nanofilm EP3

A nulling spectroscopic ellipsometer enabling CCD surface mapping within the illuminated area with a lateral resolution of 1 μm. The ellipsometer is equipped with a calibrated positioning stage, in-situ cell and various magnification objectives (×5, ×10, ×20).

Quartz Crystal Microbalance with dissipation monitoring

QSense Explorer - Quartz Crystal Microbalance with dissipation monitoring (QCM-D, Biolin Scientific) for measuring mass and viscosity in processes occurring at or near surfaces. The QCM-D set-up is capable of working in temperature range between 15–65°C and enables simultaneous ellipsometric and microscopic measurements.

Surface Plasmon Resonance

Spectroscopic 4-channel and 6-channel with dispersionless microfluidics system surface plasmon resonance biosensor custom-made by the Institute of Photonics and Electronics CAS records extremely small changes of refractive index on a surface, for example to measure interactions of ultrathin layers with biological fluids.

Gel Permeation Chromatography with multi-angle light scattering detector

Gel permeation chromatography with online UV/visible spectrometer, differential refractive index, and multi-angle light scattering detector including dynamic light scattering accessory allows determination of absolute polymer molar mass distribution, hydrodynamic radius and conformational information in aqueous buffer solution.
