TopicInvestigation of additive-influenced temperature-sensitive polymers behavior studied by NMR spectroscopy
AnnotationThe proposed project is based on the study of structure and conformational dynamics of thermo-responsive polymer that form specific blocks of the drug-delivery systems intended for biomedical applications. Particular attentions will be aimed to the location and characterization of water molecules in spatial proximity of polymer chains. The overall changes of the domain size of both polymer components and morphology of these copolymer systems will be evaluated. The main technique used for the conformational study is high-resolution NMR spectroscopy (1H operation frequency is 600 MHz).
