To participate in the UNESCO/IUPAC Postgraduate Course in Polymer Science in the beautiful city of Prague, you will need not visa but Long term residence permit for the purpose of scientific research. The average time the authorities need to issue the student visa is about 2 months.
In most countries, the
Czech consulates
ask the applicants to present a crime report. This certificate is
issued
by police of your country and it can take several weeks to get it. This
might delay your application. The document shoud be translated into
Czech language!

Keep in mind – summer time is a time of vacations. This might delay your visa process since you need several institutions to proceed.

accepted for the course, the Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry in
