Chemistry & IP – a liaison for successful innovation

Workshop
3 May 2011

Auditorium
Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry of the ASCR, v.v.i. Heyrovský Sq. 2
162 06 Prague 6

This workshop is organised under the umbrella of the International Year of Chemistry 2011 (IYC2011).

The Year of Chemistry is a worldwide celebration of the achievements of chemistry and its contributions to the well-being of humankind. Under the unifying theme “Chemistry – our life, our future”, IYC 2011 is offering a range of interactive, entertaining, and educational activities for all ages.

Because of the importance of intellectual property protection – and patents in particular – for innovation and knowledge transfer in the fi eld of chemistry, universities and the EPO are co-organising a series of workshops in approximately 20 European countries, in association with national patent offices and other institutions.

The workshop includes a participant fee of 300,- CZK
