Since 1967, the Institute has been organizing every year 1-2 international conferences on polymers, the well-known Prague Meetings on Macromolecules (P.M.M.), mostly under the auspices of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). So far, seventy four meetings of P.M.M. have been arranged.
