Practical info for visiting IMC
 

Accommodation

Outside an academical year, comparatively cheap and modest accommodation at 1 km distant Větrník a Hvězda student dormitories is available. The Institute guests often use 3 km distant Chaloupka pension with very good transport availability. Positive references have been about Kern pension  in Smíchov. No experience is with UBM pension in distance 300 m , web reviews are contradictory.
There are many agencies arranging accommodation, an official service of City of Prague is provided by Prague Information Service.

 

Where to have lunch, dinner, supper?

The Institute refectory is available during the year, where one can choose from daily offer of 6 dishes at midday time. Not far from the Institute, several smaller restaurants offer their services: La Stella, U Holečků, Libocka Studna.
