Equipment of Supramolecular polymer systems
Our group operates several advanced experimental techniques: for polymer characterization and investigation of their physical and physico-chemical properties:
· 6 commercial (ALV, Malvern) and home-built static and dynamic light scattering instruments that besides routine mesurements offer several advanced features:
o measurement in an extremely broad temperature range from -130 to 400 oC
o measurement in infrared region (980 nm) for systems absorbing light in the visible range
o measurement in electric field for determination of electrophoretic mobility and zeta potential (colloid stability) of nanoparticles
o measurement of light scattering under ionizing radiation
· particle tracking microscope (Nanosight) providing the number density and distribution of nanoparticles in solution
· temperature-controlled static birefringence instrument for determinaton of order-disorder and order-order transitios
· Electron paramagnetic resonance instrument (Bruker) including imigaing technique ESRI
· advanced SAXS/WAXS instrument (Molmet) with a Osmic microfocus source.
