Glove box system with inert atmosphere consisting of two independent glove boxes which are interconnected.
The first box is used for small chemical work, thin polymer film preparation and characterization. It is equipped with integrated spin-coater, vacuum oven and components needed for optical and electrochemical measurements.
The second box with integrated evaporator serves for further photophysical and electrical measurements, finalization of organic photovoltaic and light-emitting devices and their characterization.
Figure: The insets show details of the inner boxes: an integrated spin coater and vacuum oven (right), evaporator and the photonic device under study (left).
