How to get to us

The main building is situated in the western part of Prague, called Petřiny . Its address is:

Arrival by public transport

The tram and bus stops "Petřiny", located in front of the Institute, are terminals of:

• the tram lines
  • 1 (from Vltavská and Hradčanská Metro stations),
  • 2 (from Dejvická Metro station; out of operation at least till end of August 2013),
  • 18 (from Hradčanská Metro station; but only from Malostranská till October 2013), 
  • at night 56.
• the city bus line 191 (from Anděl Metro station).

The stop is also served by the bus line 179 (Airport - Nové Butovice Metro station), at night 510 (Airport - City centre - Modřany)

Arrival by car

The institute is located in the northwestern part of Prague. This is most suitable to use circular road as far as Praha-Řepy crossing.

If you travel by car, you should know that the parking area for the Institute is in Štolbova Street; stopping in front of the main entrance is prohibited (see a picture).
