TopicInvestigation of mobility in supramolecular polymeric systems for biomedical application by means of modern spectroscopic methods.
AnnotationDiffusion processes of polymeric nanoparticles in solutions have direct impact on numerous practical applications such as drug delivery systems and transport across membranes. Various techniques have been used for diffusion measurements. Classical concentration-gradient methods and dynamic light scattering (DLS) are examples of techniques used to determine mutual-diffusion coefficients whereas the pulsed-field-gradient nuclear magnetic resonance and radioactive tracer methods are used to determine self-diffusion coefficients. The project will be devoted to the investigation of mobility in supramolecular polymeric systems for biomedical application by means of modern spectroscopic methods – EPR, NMR, FCS, and DLS.
